Commercial Vehicle Market Data management
Analyse registration data and present in a user-friendly way
Use MS Excel or MS Access to manipulate data from various sources and build up efficient and automated management reporting
Verify provided data and statistics against OEM reporting, provide transparency and reconciliation between China and DCAG segmentation methodology.
Build-up/maintain and timely update CV market volume database for tracking and reporting of sales and registrations
Commercial Vehicle Competitor Analysis
Research/Analyze various news sources on a daily basis to keep update with developments on market, competitor and legal/regulation side. Check for new and reliable news sources.
Verify press releases and news reports from competitors for correctness
Monitor, analyse and document competitors product, sales, engine range, prices (MSRPs), sales
Monitor, analyse and document sales strategy and network strategy of competitors
Research Project support and coordination
Conduct small market research project (telephone interview, mystery shopping)
Support and coordinate research projects with external consultants (if required) . Arrange relevant meetings, basic communication with internal and external partners
Reporting
Regular update TG/C China CV market and competitor reports:
Research various news sources on a daily basis to keep update with developments on market, competitor and legal/regulation side
update Chinese/ European/ competitor profiles in PowerPoint.
update registration data analysis report
Ad-hoc analysis and project support
Participate in and coordinate market data and registration data analysis/ input to ongoing projects and planning
Preparation of ad-hoc reports and analysis regarding market and competitor issues for
Trucks and Buses market in China
Qualifications & Requirements:
Detail oriented and structured working approach
Accuracy and reliability with good time management
Good interpersonal skills and team player
Excellent command MS Office, especially Excel and Access for data analysis
Excellent PowerPoint skills
Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese
University degree in Business Administration/ Market Research/ Statistics
China automotive industry experience preferred
