KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Revenue Generation (Supporting Growth)
*To provide consultancy and technical selling of non core and value-added supply chain solutions to Customers/BD Managers within target vertical markets in country in order to enhance our capability to win new or retain existing profitable business;
*To orchestrate development of RFQ proposals by analyzing Customer requirements and objectives and developing appropriate solutions with well-defined value propositions, Service Level Agreement, Scope of Work and associated costing;
*To support generic costing models for non core and value-added services with Commercial Department and adhere to documented commercial policy on all customer projects;
*To conduct direct and open communication with customers at Senior Executive level in support of BD Managers to meet the company and customer objectives;
*To ensure correct and efficient transfer of responsibilities at designated local Lead Major/Global Account Manager
Project Management
*To deliver non core and value-added solutions for Customers by planning, implementing, coordinating and controlling country, cross-functional resources and project teams within budgeted time-lines and costs;
*To train or manage the training of country project team members and operations staff responsible for the daily operation and management of a Customer project on an ongoing basis;
*To conduct post-implementation project review and formalize hand-over to country project owner and project manager upon achievement of mutually agreed key performance objectives and indicators.
New Product Development (supporting Innovation & Competitive Edge)
*To continually monitor new technology, supply chain developments within the industry and competitor initiatives in order to support the development and launch of new, innovative supply chain solutions that will create new revenue streams for the corporation;
*To conceptualize and validate new product ideas with BD Managers and relevant functional experts in order to establish technical feasibility, development costs, customer acceptance, competition, time-to-market, product launch strategy and marketing/sales collateral and thereafter to manage the official product launch with Marketing;
*To manage the deployment of new products in country, including transfer of technical presentations and operational expertise.
Reqirements:
*Degree holder in supply chain management with formal training in project management and minimum 5 years’ experience in managing implementation of supply chain projects against aggressive implementation deadlines;
*Experienced in warehousing & inventory management, distribution, international trade & shipping practices, and Customs regulations and procedures;
Knowledge:
*Supply chain management, Warehouse Management, International trade and shipping practices, Customs regulations, Information communication technology, and Business acumen.
